  • Intel Coffee Lake-U i5-8269U Spotted with Quad Core And Multi-Threading; Clocked at 2.60 GHz & 6 MB cache.
Another Coffee Lake processor of intel has been revealed, A Quad Core i5 with SMT support. This new processor known as the Core i5-8269U is going to be a new member of the intel's Coffee Lake 8th generation peocessor family.
The processor Comes with a Quad Core design and SMT support. The Specifications of the new processor are very much similar to the 8th gen Core i5 Kaby lake-R processors, however we are getting a good increment in the base clock. At present, the Fastest core i5 U-series Chip comes with a base clock of 1.7 GHz which boosts upto 3.6 GHz.The core i5-8269U is based on the same 14nm++ technology and features a base clock of 2.60 GHz. Nothing is mentioned regarding the boost clocks but it could be expected around 4 GHz. There's no mention of the GPU at present but Coffee Lake-U chips do have the Intel HD 620 series graphics so we can expect the same GPU series with this processor.

  • Developer says Windows 10 ARM is possible on Lumia 950 XL.
Recently the developers have shown WinPE wiht Windows 10 running on Lumia 950 smartphones but the Windows 10 ARM on windows phone continue to be a dream that's yet to come true. The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL is an ARM-equipped smartphone, but the company has no plans to port the new version of operating system to Windows phone due to a lot of limitations. The idea of running a full version of Windows 10 with the desktop on Lumia sounds impressive, though its not practicle.
Developer Ben in a tweet has confirmed that its possible to hack Microsoft Lumia 950 XL and run Windows 10 ARM on it, but its difficult. "Bootstrapping a normal windows 10 ARM (not PE) means bootstrapping own AArch64 firmware and drivers, which will be hell difficult,"he explains.
Microsoft is working with a mobile-type device that will be powered by a Windows 10 ARM operating system, and if microsoft ever actually releases the long-rumoured Andromeda, it will offer both mobile & desktop expirience.

  • AMD To Release Ryzen V1000 SoC To Take on Intel Gemini Lake.

2017 has been the year of the rise of AMD in everything regarding processors. From entry-level up to enthusiast class with Threadripper and Epyc. With Ryzen 2000G just launching and the Zen+ updates in April. They do not stop there, you can now add to that an SoC development, as the low-power embedded market was still left untouched, meet the Ryzen V1000.
The AMD V1000 is actually based on Raven Ridge. This SoC series will have 1MB or 2MB cache with TDPs in the 12 to 54 Watt ranges. Being a SoC it has a built-in I/O chipset. The clock frequencies have not been listed but much like Ryzen 5 2400G it should get a Vega GPU with 11 compute units including H.265 decode and encode and VP9 Decode and Ultra HD support. An earlier leaked iBase Mini-ITX revealed and the Vega and CPU core count as well as the upto 32GB of dual-channel DDR4-2400/3200 with optional ECC.
