  • Xiaomi's Redmi Note 5 Pro receives the Face Unlock feature with MIUI 9.2.4 OTA Update.
Xiaomi promised that it will roll out the Face Unlock feature for the Redmi Note 5 Pro through an Update by the end of March but it has released the update in just a 8-9 days after the phone's Launch date in order to please the initial buyers. 

The face unlock feature on this device is touted to be faster than the fingerprint scanner, however, it is not as secure as the fingerprint scanner. Xiaomi is bringing the face unlock feature with the MIUI 9.2.4 OTA update and the size of the update is 1.6 GB. This new software update also brings camera improvements and stability optimization.

  • Xioami's Mi MIx 2S Will be launched on 27th of March and AnTuTu score Confirms Snapdragon 845's Powerful Performance.
After a month or two of leaks and rumors, Xiaomi has finally announced the launch date of its new flagship Phone, the Mi Mix 2S. The phone is a successor of the Flagship Mi Mix 2 which is a bezzel-less beauty and this new beast will be launched on the 27th of March and the company has confirmed that the new model will be powered by Qualcomm's best flagship processor till date, the Snapdragon 845 chipset.

 Also Xiaomi has revealed the first AnTuTu benchmark score of this device and the phone manges to score over 273,741 points on the AnTuTu benchmark which is one of the best scores we have ever seen on an android smartphone till date. Apart from the release date and the chipset, the company has not revealed anything else about the device but we expect that the company will reveal other features too after the MWC 2018.
  • LineageOS 15.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo has been officially announced.
The Lineage OS has seen a meteoric rise in popularity, the project grew to support over 180 devices reaching over 1.8 million users. The team is now ready to move on to its next big milestone:re-basing on Android 8.1 Oreo. After teasing us back in December 2017, they have yesterday announced that the LineageOS 15.1 is ready.

The most widely-installed Android custom ROM now offers all of the features that Android 8.0 and Android 8.1 Oreo have. This means notification channels, picture-in-picture mode, support for autofill framework, better background app and service limitations for improved memory performance and improved battery backup, and much more. And also there are features that lineageOS offers such as Privacy Guard, Live Display and many more features.

  • List of smartphones coming with Snapdragon 845 in 2018.
Qualcomm announced its latest Snapdragon 845 around November last year. Some of the models which would be powered by this powerful SoC are already known but someone on Weibo released a list of models that would be released this year with the Snapdragon 845 Chip.
The list includes many flagship smartphones and on the top of the list is the Smasumg Galaxy S9 and S9+ which Samsung is going to launch today at 10:30 pm.(You'll get the details of the S9 and S9+ tomorrow on our Web page.... So stay connected.) The list also includes LG G7 and G7+, Xiaomi Mi 7 is another expected device to feature the Snapdragon 845 chipset and it is expected to be launched in this year's April. The month of may will see the HTC U12 joining the list of smartphones powered by the SD 845. Three models are listed as dropping in June this year and they include the Oneplus 6, Sony Xperia XZ Pro and ZTE Nubia Z18. We also get the Nokia 10 Coming this August and the galaxy note 9 would be launched in September featuring the SD 845 on one of its models. The Xiaomi  Mi Mix 3 and LG V40 are also expected this September. In October, the Pixel 3 and pixel 3 XL, Nubia Z18s, Xperia XZ 2, and HTC U12+. In November, Motorola will join the race with the Moto Z 2019. Finally, in December we'll see the Oneplus 6T and Sumsung W2019.
