  • Sony Xperia R1 and R1 plus Android Oreo Update Rolling Out in India.
On Thursday, Sony India announced the rollout of Android Oreo Software Update for its two mid-range devices, Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 plus. These two devices were launched in the October of last year and were launched exclusively for Indian market.

Sony had promised an Android Oreo update for the two phones at the launch and as promised, the rollout of the update began last week. The Update brings several Oreo features such as Picture in Picture(PiP) mode, Notification dots, Smart Autofill, redesigned Quick settings menu and many more such features. The Update also brings a relatively new android security patch.

  • Now Navigate as Mario on Google Maps for a week to celebrate MAR 10 Day.
On Saturday Google began rolling out a feature  in Google Maps for both Android and iOS that will turn any ride into a fum ride as the default arrow in navigation will be replaced by Mario Kart. 

To get started with this new feature, Users need to first update Maps app from Google Play store or App store and then follow the following steps. 
Click on th yellow ? icon found on the bottom right of Google Maps app on Android or iOS, then you'll see a prompt to enable Mario Time!, and then just choose the Lets A-Go option. Once enabled, the regular navigation arrow will change into Mario Cart.
  • Android P could be released officially in the month of August or September.
The first Developer Preview of Android P is already out and can be flashed manually in a Google Pixel/Pixel 2 devices. Also according to the official update calendar, we have four other versions before the arrival of the Final Update.

According to the update calendar, the second developer preview will be out in the month of May, the third DP will have all the final APIs and will be released in the month of June, the fourth DP will also be released in the same month i.e. in June and the fifth DP will come in July 2018 and after this DP we'll have the Final Stable Update of Android P in August or September of this year. And most probably The Pixel 3 will be the first phone to come with Android P out of the box.

  • Honor 7C is now Official and will start selling in China from tomorrow.
Honor 7C is now Official, the smartphone has a 5.99 inch 18:9 HD+ diplay with 2.5D curved Glass and its powered by the Snapdragon 450 processor. It has two variants viz 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage and the second variant has 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. 

The Phone has a dual rear camera setup which consists of a 13MP primary shooter a 2MP secondary sensor. The front camera on this one is a 8MP sensor and the phone also has the Face unlock feature. We also have portrait mode in both the front and the rear cameras. The Phone Comes with Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box with Honor's custom EMUI 8.0. Coming to the price, the 3GB/32GB variant is priced at CYN 899 ( Rs. 9232) and the the 4GB/64GB variant costs CYN 1,299 ( Rs 13,340). Lets see when we get to use this phone in India.
  • Xiaomi Redmi 5A price now starts from Rs 5,999 for the base variant.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi 5A with a discount of Rs 1,000 for the first 5 million buyers. But from today onwards the price of this phone has increased and now you'll get the phone at a price of Rs 5,999 for the 2GB/16GB variant which earlier was Rs 4,999 and for the 3GB/32GB variant you'll have to pay Rs 6,999 which was earlier priced at Rs 5,999. 

So basically, it seems like Xiaomi has sold 5 million units of this device and now the priced has been increased by Rs 1,000. You can but the Xiaomi Redmi 5A on Flipkart, Mi store and Mi Home.
