Lenovo Ideapad 330S and Lenovo Ideapad 530S launched in India.

On Wednesday, at an event in New Delhi, Lenovo announced  the launch of a new range of laptops in its Ideapad series. The laptops are named Ideapad 330S, Ideapad 530S and IdeaCentre all-in-one (AIO) 730S. The 'S' in the lineup stands for 'Slim'. The new laptops are a part of company's range of ultra-slim laptops and Lenovo claims that these new machines will provide better mobility, battery life and performance. Lets now get into the Specs of the new Laptops.
  • Ideapad 330S -
 The Ideapad 330S features up to 15.6 inch FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS LED backlight Antiglare display and comes with Windows 10 Home out-of-the-box. The processor options include Intel Core i3-8130U, Intel Core i5-8250U and Intel Core i7-8550U processor and it also has up to 4 GB GDDR5 AMD Radeon 540 Graphics. It comes with 4 GB DDR4 for the base variant and goes up to 8 GB.



It has a 3 Cell Li-Polymer battery which can last for up to 7 hours as claimed by the company and it also has Rapid Charge which provides the laptop up to 2 hours of charge in just 15 minutes. It weighs around 1.67 Kg (Base Variant) and 1.87 Kg (top-end Variant) and the connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.1, 1x1 AC WiFi, USB Type-c 3.1, 2 x USB 3.0, HDMI, 4-in-1 card reader and a 3.5 mm Audio jack. 

The storage options on the Ideapad 330S include up to 2 TB of HDD and up to 256 GB SSD. Now, talking about the price of the Ideapad 330S, the base variant with i3 and 4 GB RAM is priced at Rs 35,399 and it goes up to Rs 74,999 for its top-end variant.

  • Ideapad 530S
Ideapad 530S features up to 15.6 inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) IPS LED backlight Antiglare display and comes with Windows 10 S out-of-the-box. It weighs around 1.5 Kg for the non-glass display variant and 1.85 Kg for the Glass display variant. This one also comes with up to 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor. The Graphics department on the Ideapad 330S is taken care off by up to Nvidia MX 150. 


It comes with up to 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 512 GB PCIe SSD. It comes with a 3-cell battery and supports Rapid Charge (Power-off Mode, 65W power supply required) and can provide up to 8 hours of battery life. The connectivity options on this one are the same as the Ideapad 330S the only difference is that this one has 2x2 AC WiFi. 

For security of your files and other stuff it also has a Fingerprint Scanner with Windows Hello (not available in all the variants). Ideapad 330S's price starts at Rs 67,990 for the base variant and goes up to Rs 84,999.
