Lenovo Z5 Officially launched || Price and Specifications ||

Finally the most awaited phone of the month has been launched. Everyone was waiting for the official launch of the Lenovo Z5 whose teasers blew the minds of every single person out there. So, does the phone really has a truly bezel-less screen and 4 TB onboard storage? The answer answer is - It does not have any of them. Its not even a Flagship phone, its a mid-range Smartphone with some really good specifications as per its Price. So lets just get into it without wasting any further time.

  • Specification Highlights - 6.2 inch FHD+ display, Android 8.1 Oreo, Snapdragon 636 SoC, 3300 mAh battery, 16+8 Mp dual rear camera & 8 MP front camera, 6 GB RAM & 64 GB/128 GB storage variants.
The Lenovo Z5 features a 6.2 inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2246 pixels) display with an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. If you are thinking that this is a truly bezel-less Smartphone without any notch or any chin on the bottom, then I'm sorry to inform you that its not. It has both, a chin and even a notch like most of the phones launched in 2018. If you'll look at the phone from the rear side, you'll notice that the design is quiet similar some of the recently launched Huawei Smartphones where you get a shiny back which changes the color when looked from different angles. Anyways, the phone is well designed and it looks nice and premium.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 636 SoC which is an Octa-core CPU clocked at 1.8 GHz and is coupled with the Adreno 509 GPU. The phone comes with Android 8.1 out-of-the-box and it runs on ZUI 3.9 which is a custom UI from Lenovo. It sports a 3300 mAh battery which can be charged through the USB type-C port and the 15 Watt turbo charger.

The Lenovo Z5 has a dual rear camera setup and a single front camera. The dual-rear camera setup consists of a 16 MP main shooter and a 8 MP helper lens. Both the cameras are vertically aligned and come with AI capabilities, HDR+, 4K support, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. As mentioned above, the front camera is a 8 MP camera which with an aperture of f/2.0 and can record 1080p videos.

It comes with 6 GB of RAM and two storage variants - 64 GB and 128 GB. Lenovo Z5 weighs around 165 grams and contains all the basic sensors which are required for most of the stuff. Talking about the price of this phone, in China, the 6 GB/64 GB variant is priced at CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs 14,500) and the 6 GB/128 GB variant costs CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs 19,000). The smartphone is up for pre-order and the shipping will begin in China from 10 am on June 12.

Overall the Lenovo Z5 is an amazing mid-range smartphone because the price of the 64 GB variant is very competitive and this is going to take on most of the smartphones in the mid-range segment. As of now there's no information about the launch of the smartphone in other countries but lenovo should definitely think of launching this phone in other markets too including India.
