Samsung Galaxy J8.... Mixed Feelings??

Samsung Galaxy J8 with Snapdragon 450 SoC and 6 inch Super AMOLED display....

Samsung's budget Smartphone are never worth buying because they don't provide value for the money you are paying to buy them. Couple of days ago Samsung brought the Galaxy J8 to India and this is another phone in Samsung's budget segment Smartphones. It is powered by the Snapdragon 450 SoC and comes with amazing rear and front cameras. Lets just get into it and find out whether you should buy it or not.
  • Specification Highlights - 6 inch HD+ display, Android 8.0 Oreo, 16+5 MP dual rear camera and 16 Mp front camera, Snapdragon 450 SoC, 3500 mAh Battery, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
The new Samsung Galaxy J8 features a 6 inch Super AMOLED display which is an HD+ display (720 x 1480 pixels) and comes with Android 8.0 Oreo Out-of-the-box with Samsung's Experience UI 9.0 on the top of it. The Screen quality is really good as it is a Super AMOLED screen.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 450 SoC which is an octa-core CPU clocked up to 1.8 GHz and is coupled with the Adreno 506 GPU. The CPU is not that powerful but you'll not notice any significant lag on your day-to-day performance but yes, don't try to play heavy games on this smartphone because it will definitely show some significant lag and frame drops while playing such games.

The cameras of the Galaxy J8 are its main highlighting feature. On the rear side it has a dual camera setup and on the front it sports a single selfie camera with a LED flash. The rear camera setup includes a 16 MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.7 and a 5 MP scondary camera with f/1.9 aperture. And let me tell you one thing that the photos are just awesome. The color reproduction and the dynamic range of the photos that you get are just amazing. It has got plenty of modes such as live focus, HDR, Pro mode, panorama and a lot more. The front Camera is a 16 Mp shooter with f/1.9 aperture which captures great amount of detail. The front Camera of the J8 also has a portrait mode which provides Bokeh-effect.
