Xiaomi Mi Pad 4.... Best Tab in its segment??

Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 launched with Snapdragon 660 SoC and a massive 6000 mAh battery.

Xiaomi has finally launched the Mi Pad 4 and this tab has an amazing processor, a good screen,  nice cameras, a massive 6,000 mAh battery and many more things. It is probably the best tab that you can buy in the budget segment. So lets just get into it without wasting much time.

  • Specification Highlights - 8 inch Full HD Screen, Snapdragon 660, Android Oreo, 6000 mAh battery, 13 MP rear camera & 5 MP front camera, 3/4 GB of RAM and 32/64 GB of Storage.
The Mi Pad 4 features a 8.0 inch Full HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) display with 16:10 aspect ratio and a pixels density of 283 ppi. It comes with MIUI 9 based on Android Oreo and is powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC which is a very powerful octa-core CPU clocked up to  2.2 GHz and is coupled with the Adreno  512 GPU.

The Camera department is where most of the tabs lag behind, but the Mi Pad 4 has pretty good cameras. On the rear side,  there's a 13 MP shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 and support for HDR which is comparatively better than most of the tabs. for selfies and video conferencing, it has a 5 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture which is nice for a tablet device. Xiaomi is also touting the AI Face Unlock feature which is obviously a software based feature and not a hardware based.

The main highlight apart from the Snapdragon 660 is the massive 6,000 mAh battery which powers the device. And as the processor is a powerful and power efficient one, you'll be getting an amazing battery life. As mentioned above, it comes with 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB of on-board storage. The connectivity options on the MI Pad 4 include 4G LTE (single nano sim; optional), WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual-band, 2.45 GHz and 5 GHz), USB Type-C, Bluetooth v5.0 and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Talking about the price of the device, the price starts from CNY 1,099 (roughly Rs 11,500) for the 3 GB/32 GB WiFi variant, CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs 14,600) for the 4 GB/64 GB WiFi variant and CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs 15,600) for the 4 GB/64 GB LTE variant.

At such a price, the tablet offers amazing features. So if you are willing to buy a new tab, then just go for the Mi Pad 4 without thinking twice. As of now, it is available in China only but it is expected to be launched in other markets too.
