Today, Oppo launched a new Smartphone in the budget segment and the Smartphone is named Oppo A5. Yes it is the same smartphone which was in rumors for the past couple of weeks. This new smartphone from Oppo comes with an illusion texture back panel that has been designed using a nano-scale microcrystalline technology. Lets now have a look at the specs of the Oppo A5.

  • Specification Highlights - 6.2 inch HD+ display, Android 8.1 Oreo, Snapdragon 450 SoC, 4320 mAh battery, 13+2 MP dual rear camera & 8 MP front camera, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage.
The all new Oppo A5 features a 6.2 inch 19:9 display with HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) resolution and a notched display. It is powered by the Snapdragon 450 SoC which is an Octa-core CPU clocked at 1.8 GHz and is coupled with the Adreno 506 GPU.

Talking about the cameras, it comes with a dual rear camera setup and and a single 8 MP front camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and has a lot of AI beauty features and is capable of recognizing up to 296 facial features. Now, talking about the rear camera setup, it consists of a 13 MP primary shooter with f/2.2 aperture and the secondary camera is a 2 MP shooter with an aperture of f/2.4 which will help you in taking some good portrait shots.

Under the hood, it has a 4,320 mAh battery which is claimed to offer 14 hours of video playback or 11 hours of gaming on a single charge. The price of the phone in China is set at CNY 1,500 ( Roughly Rs 15,500 ). Its sale will begin from July 13 and currently it is available for pre-orders in China.

No doubt, the phone looks amazing in terms of design but the hardware is not worth the price. At a price tag of CNY 1,500, Oppo should at least have used the Snapdragon 636 or else the Helio P60.
