Oppo F9 pro to launch with VOOC Charging and Helio P60 SoC

Oppo F9 Pro is going to launch soon with a 6.3 inch display, VOOC charging and Helio P60 SoC.

On Monday, Oppo India teased the launch of its upcoming smartphone in India, the F9 Pro. And the teasers confirm that the phone is going to have a very different kind of a notch on the top which contains the 25 MP AI front camera. In this blog we'll be discussing about the other leaked or teased specs of the F9 Pro; so lets begin.

According to reports, Oppo F9 Pro will be having a 6.3 inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ (1080 x 2280 pixels) resolution with a very small and unique notch on the top of the phone containing the front camera and the earpiece as you can see in the image below.

It will be powered by the Helio P60 SoC which is the same processor which powers the Oppo F7 and the Realme 1 smartphones. It is an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz and comes with Mali-G72 GPU. It is a powerful CPU but not as powerful and stable as the Snapdragon 660. Apart from this, it will be having 6 GB of RAM and reports claim that F9 Pro will come with 128 GB of on-board storage which will be expandable up to 256 GB via a microSD card.

Talking about the cameras, it will be featuring a dual rear camera setup which will contain two 16 MP shooters with an LED Flash and many AI features like AI portrait mode, AI scene detection and many more. The front camera is going to be a 25 MP AI camera with sensor HDR.

It is expected to have a 3,400 mAh battery with VOOC charging (5 V/4 A) support. It will run ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It will be having a rear mounted Fingerprint scanner, Dual band WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS with A-GPS GLONASS and a USB Type-C port.

The price of the phone is not confirmed but a report claims that it will be priced at Rs 29,990 which seems to be a bit overpriced. So, lets wait for the official launch of the phone for getting the confirm pricing.
